As with my previous post about hardtops, over the years I’ve always preferred the look of a MX5 with a hardtop plus it’s added performance gains.
For track used I’ve always gone for solid mounted rather than using the latches only.

They do a solid mounted hardtop bracket solution for the NC, which is far far cheaper than the Mazda OEM fitting kit.Β π Β
I’ve opted for the Front & Side mounts as I’ve removed my soft top permanently plus it’s added security.Β
They do two different side mounts one where you retain the OEM roll bar and one where the OEM roll bar has been removed.
The main reason is purely to have a more solid / stable mounting setup for the hardtop to keep everything rigid and where it should be, even more so on track. I’ve not fitting them yet! but from what I’ve heard from other people it is an AMAZING FIT!!!Β πͺ

thinking of doing the same with mine ,the brackets look very neat, are you planning on running a roll bar as well.
They do look nice don’t they π They do 2 different side brackets, one where you have totally removed the soft top and the seat belt mounts and one where you retain the seat belt mounts, I do plan to run a roll bar at some point.. When I do I will use the other mounts as they bolt to the body of the car as I won’t be using the OEM seat belt mounts.
