I’ve been hunting for quite a while for a good boost controller as the standard ECU on the mk3 does not support a boost solenoid… Yet..
Well I say that but with the EGR deleted you may be able to use the EGR map to control a MAC valve, A fellow friend is currently looking at testing this so possible an option for the future. 💪
I’ve spoken to a few people who very highly spoke of the Go Faster Bits G-Force II Boost Controller, mentioning that it works bloody well and holds the boost you require as you would expect from any boost controller.
I’ve always used manual boost controllers as a rule as they just work without fail, set the desired boost and off you go knowing it will work each time. But… come winter/summer you can find your boosting less/more due to the weather, not ideal this is why I wanted to give a boost controller a try.
I will no doubt do another update regarding how I get on with the install and the general setup, but I anticipate it’s going to be extremely easy… I’ve just got to workout where I’m going to install it…. any ideas guys?? 🧐
