Description
Clutch Simulator (Remote Mount) – For DCT Setups That Miss Having Three Pedals
Your DCT doesn’t need a clutch pedal. Your gearbox controller, however, might want one. This hydraulic clutch simulator gives your transmission controller the clutch position signal it needs for launch control, anti-lag, or any other clutch-dependent logic.
**Remote mounting**: Installs as a slave cylinder downstream of your main clutch cylinder using a 3/8-24 UNF fitting. Includes stainless steel mounting bracket and M3 bleed screw.
Note: Depending on your pedal geometry and cylinder sizing, you *might* need a helper spring to pull the pedal back properly. Most setups work fine without, but some don’t. We’re working on a universal fix, but for now, add a spring if needed.
Built-in 5v analog clutch position sensor (optional):
– 0.5-4.5v output range
– 0-10 bar pressure range
– 1/8 NPT thread
Important calibration tip: Heat from the engine bay causes slight voltage drift (~0.1v at 80°C). When calibrating, leave headroom from your zero point. If the sensor reads 0.5v at rest, set your controller’s 0% threshold to at least 0.8-1.0v.
Works with: Turbo Lamik, MaxxECU, and most transmission controllers that support clutch-based control logic
