Everyone loves a good burnout, the smell of rubber is just lovely! *dribble*
This particular burnout was done in 3rd gear on a 6 speed with a 3.6 LSD, I generally had to wet the floor to get it going in that gear without giving my clutch hell when it is trying to bite up and get them rear tyres spinning!
So how do you do a burnout?
1. Build the rev’s up (This will vary from car to car)
2. Drop the clutch – pretty much snap off the clutch and put your foot down on the power abit more.
3. After snapping off the clutch you need to quickly modulate the brake pedal with your left foot just enough to stop the car moving, otherwise your gonna bog the engine and need more of the loud pedal.
4. Once you happy it spinning well you can modulate the power so your not banging the limiter & lift off the brakes slightly to get it rolling. 🙂
